So its off to Krakow! What can I say bad weather follows me whenever I travel... it started to drizzle the moment the plane landed and got heavier as the day progressed. Managed to find Hostel Atlantis pretty easily so quite glad I chose it. Once again, got pangsehed by a couch host, so last min have to find hostel.
Trying to avoid the rain.... I went to do the indoor stuff. Went to the st mary church which was quite impressive. Wanted to go to Wawel Castle next, but was stun when the sign said that tix were sold out, apparently they only have a limited number each day. The dark clouds cleared a bit when a group of polish girls gave me free hugs.
The rain was still unrelenting, so I went to the pub to grab a pint and watch the match. I'm no itlay fan, but was kinda hoping that they would go far as thats where I'd be during the final. zzzz. and more zzzz cause denmark just lost their match :( .
Wandered into a polish eatery and seeing as there was no english menu, I asked the waitress what she recommanded. She recommanded dumplings with meat and I was dumbfounded when the dumpling with meat was really just dumpling with meat... nothing more or less.
Free tours tomorrow, so hope the sun comes out =)
